The Initiation of “Refugee to Refugee” Program in Greece

And that’s how it all started…
Finding refuge in Greece, alongside millions who fled Syria because of the war, Jafra volunteers found themselves blocked in Idomeni camp on the Macedonian/Greek border. Having experience in working with youths, through capacity development, and children, through education and psychosocial support, the six volunteers initiated a “Refugee to Refugee” support network. With further planned expansion, the initiative is currently operant in 5 sectors: Emergency Response, Shelter, Child Protection, Capacity Building, and Livelihoods
